Kommotion was another  welcome addition from the Shady Lawn herd in December.  Her sire, Element, was in our herd for a while and I liked the type of animals that he threw.  Unfortunately at the time, I was “anti” American Alpine and sold him to concentrate on purebreds.  When the opportunity came up to own her, I was happy to welcome her into our herd.  She has a lovely attachment with a board level back and plumb teats for hand milking.  If I could change one thing, I would add some height to her and perhaps, breeding her to Statement will bring that about.  Kids are $300.

Magnolia came to our herd as a gangly kid and freshened with a beautifully attached udder this year as a two-year old.   Early on she ran into some problems with illness so we allowed her to dry up.  I am hoping that this does not hurt her in regards to how the udder will look next year but she is a beautiful and upstanding purebred doe.  We are uncertain at this time who we will be breeding her to but will update it when it happens.  Kids are $300.
